Oliver Insanally – Project Manager

Career Profile

Oliver has been working in the information technology / computer science fields since 1992 when the company for which he worked started using software applications to create graphics.  Since then, he has focused on Internet technologies, various networking platforms and the developing of information systems to streamline business procedures. 

In addition, Oliver has developed competency as a project manager through experience and formal project management training. He has managed several major projects that are conducted through PRIMA (Guyenterprise).  Some of these include the National AIDS Awareness Movement, the Guyana Telephone Directory Project and the overall formation of GuyanaNet, one of Guyana’s largest Internet Service Providers.  At GuyanaNet, he has been responsible for all major technical decisions taken to date as well as overseeing the implementation of all technical plans.  He has also provided network maintenance, management and Internet consultancy to major local firms.
