Paloma Mohamed –
Specialist Consultant
Paloma holds a Master’s
degree from the University of Guyana, post graduate degree from Harvard
University and is currently a candidate for a Ph.D. degree at the
University of the West Indies (St. Augustine).
She has designed several public education
programmes for international agencies such as UNICEF and the OECS,
both inside and outside of Guyana and has been technical consultant on
strategic communications and managing consultant for Guyenterprise on
several major projects including:
- The
United Nations Population Fund – Adolescent and Youth Reproductive
Health Pilot Project, public awareness and education programme;

A solid waste public awareness and education programme for Georgetown
with emphasis on the Lodge and Regent Street areas (an IDB-funded
project); and
- A
public awareness and education programme for the Eccles landfill (an IDB-funded
project.
Ms. Mohamed is
also a published prizewinning writer and director and has been responsible for several popular local productions. She also brings
these skills to her projects. |
